Baked CD 104
This CD 104, which I refurbished long time ago 2016/17 , had a bit of an accident. Its owner placed it on a pellet stove during a job and forgot about it, and it got hot. After cooling down, it plays fine, but one channel sounds strange now. Could I take a look?
Some modification on TDA1540 i did long ago, around 2016/17 “TDA1540 High Precision Synced TikTak” , i also added missing 22nf on OpAmp
I have reversed the current outputs on the op-amp to determine which TDA1540 might be defective
Neither TDA5140 is defective; the analog part is also in perfect working order., still 1 channel sound strange, next step swap the SAA7030 oversampling filter
Root cause , cooked SAA7030 oversampling filter .
