I regularly get these questions ,

  • Can my CD player sound better, I read somewhere on the internet……
  • Can a Grundig Dynamic Element Matching (DEM) modification be done in my TDA1540 Player
  • Can  i replace the Ceramic or SMD Capacitors by better ones like , C0G, PP ,  PPS,  ect  ect,..  in my CD player, because…..
  • In the Datasheet of the TDA 1540…….

Try’d the Alternative External Control Circuit sync on a TDA1540

Synced Dynamic Element Matching (DEM) only Mode

High Precision I-ref mod 

Choose  0.5% or 0.1% xx ppm  Resitors and Capicitor  SMD size 0603

SMD Decouple Caps ,  C0G or Polyphenylene Sulfide or Polypropylene  modification

 

Fully loaded  mod board

 

All these SMD  components  and 4 tht capicitors have to be removed if the board is fully loodde , example CD 104
