Philips Musicore
“Philips Semiconductors has launched the Musicore 1.1 MPEG-2 compliant audio decoder and encoder. The device offers MPEG-2 low sample rates of 16, 24 and 22.05-kHz, at lower bit rates of 8, 24 and 26-kbps. The device can be integrated into a Macintosh, iAPX-86 PC or VME-based boards. Musicore 1.1 is available in sample quantities for USDlr 400 each.”
