CD 304 Tracking Problems

CD 304 , Tray and some tracking problems , has had some repair attempts before.

Is this a orginal modification..?!

Somebody added some extra tin to the Griplets

Replaced Capacitors

JD capacitors.., neverheard off

Also -6 volt regulator has been replaced

Repaired griplets , replaced belt, re-adjusted focus-offset , Focus Gain , Laser , Disc Height , checked eye pattern ect .

After Hours off playing, the problems starts again, when i apply some presure to the PCB the players loses track..i can’t find a broken trace, maybe a small crack in a SMD component is causing the issue. when i use a spare servo board the player is working fine again.

I can’t find the broken SMD or trace , so i took an old servo board and did  some refurbishment

a closer look at the old board, when i touch the SMD with solder iron it fell apart
