CD 960 Trouble reading disc

The owner of the CD 960 replaced the belts , but the player won’t read disc.,so i  had a quick look,  after some tinkering it can  reads the disc with difficulty.

CD 960 – “plays fantastic again. Professional repair. Hats off!”
